Calgary
is clean and safe;
It's a big
city without
big city problems It has a population of approximately 900,000 and is Alberta's
largest city. The 1988 Winter Olympics put Calgary on the map as a world class
city teaming with opportunity.
Calgary is situated in the center-south part of the Province of Alberta very
close to the US border.
What do I like the most about Calgary? I would say the feeling of being so close
to the mountains and the wilderness whilst remaining in the heart of a modern
and expanding city. Calgary is one of the most connected cities
in the world with high speed Internet and high level telephony available across
the city.

There
are numerous renowned events throughout the year, among them the
famous Calgary Stampede. Some people see it as the World Cup of Rodeo, I only
know that it is the largest outdoor event on earth. Now, if you are looking for
things to do, hear and see, there are plenty. Why not lunch at the top of the
Calgary Tower or take a trip to the past visiting Heritage Park. Not to mention
the skiing in the nearby Rocky Mountains or even whithin the city at Canada Olympic Park with the best ski jump in its class.
Calgary is also known for its proximity to Banff, Canmore and Lake Louise, all
of them first class resorts of the Canadian Rockies.

You
will find plenty of schools, hospitals, sport centers, theatres and other
amenities. Calgary is also a venue for many touring artists, with its' acclaimed
"Saddledome", but if you are an easy to please person
and just want to walk, jog or bike ride you may do it to your satisfaction, along
hundreds of kilometers of winding paths that follow sparkling rivers.
And for the nature-lover, Calgary has plenty of fishing, touring or whitewater
rafting under clear blue skies.

Living
in Calgary has been a delight. Year after year we welcome lots of new
residents. Sometimes they come just to visit and they stay for good. If you are in Calgary for a visit or you are
considering living here, give me a call or email me so I can make some
arrangements and make sure that you too will learn to love Calgary.
